The standalone Backstage Controller is deprecated in favour of the Portal Controller. It continues to work, see Migrating from the Backstage Controller when you are ready to move.

The generator reference has moved. The generator now ships as the portal adapter, so both pages live with the Portal Controller:

• Entity YAML format — The entity YAML the SKE plugins expect.
